Personal Insurance Claim Lawyer

Serving the Houston & Beaumont Areas

The insurance claim lawyers of Snider Law Firm, PLLC. represent homeowners and policyholders, whose insurance claim or property damage claim has been denied, delayed or underpaid. Snider Law Firm provides both common and highly-specialized transaction and litigation legal services for individuals in and around the cities of Houston and Beaumont.

All of our lawyers began their careers with large law firms, and in that capacity, our lawyers often represented large insurance companies in disputes with their policyholders. While we no longer represent insurance companies, we have coupled this previous experience with hard work and strong values to build a successful practice representing homeowners in disputes with their insurance companies.

Types of insurance claim cases that we handle:

Homeowners Claims

When it came time to choosing a homeowners insurance policy, you made sure that you had all the right coverage, but when you had to file a claim, you weren’t expecting certain stipulations or loopholes that ended up affecting your claim.

Too many people have a habit of accepting what the insurance company offers, even if that isn’t the answer that they want or deserve. Instead, you should always take the time to do what you think is right, no matter what the insurance company says.

Look to the insurance claim lawyers of Snider Law Firm to help you fight the insurance company to get the money that you are owed.

  • Refusal to pay claims based on the available information, and an investigation is performed
  • Failure to inform the insured of forms that are required in the claims process

ERISA Claims

The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) was passed in 1974 and states that there are minimum standards for pension plans in private jobs and careers. In addition, there are also regulations set forth about income tax effects on employee benefits and transactions, ensuring that participants and their families are protected at all times.

While the law doesn’t require employers to have these pension plans in place, once that are in place they are heavily regulated. The health portion of the ERISA act includes the development of COBRA in 1985 and HIPPA in 1996, both additions to the original act. There have been other additions since the creation of the ERISA, and when companies don’t do their jobs, ERISA claims are necessary to be made.

If you have had to file ERISA claims and are being treated unfairly and not getting the compensation or other treatment that you deserve, contact Snider Law Firm. We are here to help.
